The map shows cadastral parcels wherever the state surveying authority publishes its data as open data. If your federal state is missing, that is not our doing — the data simply is not freely available there.

Terminology

Flurkarte, Liegenschaftskarte, Katasterplan — what is the difference?

None. It is the same map. Which name it carries depends on the federal state, the authority and how old the usage is. The only real distinction is between the map itself and the official document produced from it.

Term What it means Where the term is official
Liegenschaftskarte The official map of the German land register (Liegenschaftskataster), showing parcel boundaries, parcel numbers and buildings. The current technical term nationwide, introduced with ALKIS.
Cadastral map The same map. The older name, still in everyday use. Still the official product name of the state survey authority in Bavaria (Digitale Flurkarte, DFK) and North Rhine-Westphalia (Amtliche Flurkarte NRW).
Katasterplan, Katasterkarte, Flurplan Again, the same map. Nowhere — colloquial, but widely used.
Katasterauszug, Auszug aus der Liegenschaftskarte Not the map, but the official document derived from it — sealed, chargeable and legally binding. Nationwide. Only the cadastral office issues it.
ALKIS Not a map name but the system behind it. It merged the former cadastral map (ALK) and the cadastral register (ALB). Nationwide, introduced in every federal state.

Whichever of these terms you searched for, the map above shows the same thing in every case: parcel boundaries, parcel numbers, cadastral district and land parcel block.

Cadastral maps, parcels & the German cadastre

Can I view the cadastral map online for free? +
Yes. This page shows parcel boundaries and numbers right on the map — no sign-up, no fee. It is a non-binding orientation based on official open geodata, not an official cadastral extract.
How do I find my parcel number? +
Search for your address above and zoom into the map. Parcel numbers appear once buildings become visible. Clicking a parcel shows its recorded details — cadastral district (Gemarkung), sector (Flur) and number.
Are the property boundaries on this map legally binding? +
No. The boundaries shown come from open geodata published by the state surveying authority and serve as orientation. Only the official extract from the German cadastre (Liegenschaftskataster) is legally binding. You need that official extract for building applications, boundary disputes or notary appointments.
Is a Liegenschaftskarte the same as a Flurkarte? +
Yes. Liegenschaftskarte, Flurkarte, Katasterplan, Katasterkarte and Flurplan all denote the same official map of the German land register. Liegenschaftskarte is the current technical term, introduced with ALKIS; Flurkarte is the older name and still appears in the official product names of the survey authorities in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia. Katasterplan, Katasterkarte and Flurplan are colloquial. The only real distinction is the Katasterauszug — not the map, but the sealed document derived from it.
How do I request an official cadastral map? +
Official cadastral maps and property maps are issued solely by the responsible cadastral authority or the state surveying authority — usually through your federal state's geoportal or directly at the district office. Depending on the state and the format, fees are typically in the low double digits (euros).
Which areas does the map cover? +
Currently Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thüringen as well as Dänemark, Frankreich, Italien, Niederlande, Norwegen, Slowenien and Tschechien. Coverage depends on which federal states and countries publish their cadastral data as open data — it grows as more of them follow.
